Okay, Okay! So “No”, unfortunately Yoda hasn’t yet managed to use the force to luminate himself from a long time ago in a galaxy far away to give us his Gig In The Sky. However, we still thought that just a few of you might be interested in what songs he might chose if he ever were to pay us a visit.
Having reached the grand old age of 900 “The Return Of The Jedi” saw Yoda finally transcend onto a greater plane of existence. With little more than Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 there to say goodbye, we imagine that in more peaceful times without the Empire to worry about, he would have had an impressive state-funeral that would have probably have been declared a galactic holiday.
No doubt that had that been part of the script, John Williams who has penned all the film scores for the Star Wars films so far would have crafted an orchestral masterpiece to portray the event. However, since we don’t quite have the budget to commission John to compose what he may have written had this been the case, we’re just gonna have some fun.
